i know i shouldnt be blogging at this time. should be either slping or studying. but i cant help it. i feel very lost in my gek notes and is of no mood to bed now too. such a cracky day for me. got up late, feel unwell, slp again, wake up, try to study but cannot focus. tts my day. ya im so dead. got a paper on mon and one on tue tt i have yet started. smt is seriously wrong with my focus level and concentration every after my fri paper. and its been 30 hrs alr. i cant let this go on. i cant afford to. please let me regain my concentration and focus!! i need it and i must do well!!! im determined not to S/U my gek and im gonna do well for my core paper on tue too!!!!!!!!!!

last entry was kind of emo. feeling much better le. =) could be due to pre-exam stress.

im thinking about my holiday plans alr! have got a lot on the list. first im gonna exercise!!!! get away fats!!! i know im not very heavy, but i do have a lot of fats now. anymore and i can start bouncing ard le. T_T tone up my tights and arms like seriously!!! run! badminton! dance? maybe. =) then im gonna get part time job! one tt works 3-4 days a wk most likely. so i still have time to do my own stuff. and i dun mind working on wkends. any recommendations do let me know k! help this poor girl! (literally POOR, no $$) and then im gonna spend the $$ earned! =D i need to get new stuffs. shoes, bads, clothes. i haven been doing proper shopping for really long. deprived. =p humm yupp tts how im gonna spend most of my holidays. oh ya! of couse, meets ups!!! gatherings!! food! =D and a short trip b4 school start would be nice! i totally love my holiday plan! will get it work! oh ya. i will be going back for holiday in end may to mid june. so only available for job from mid jun onwards. and b4 end may also of course. temp jobs will also be good enough. and i can take tuitions as well! so ya, readers, you have a friend tt is DESPIRATELY looking for job! =D

ok tts all for now. exams coming in 2 wks. =x revision moving along! left one labreport and i can study in peace. shall get started really soon. due on thur. humm

(3pax min) cas there is minimum orders for the bbq and 2 ppl quite difficult to finish all. (we did though, im eating a lot lately, maybe cas of stress too. =x)

different people walk different paths, where does my lead to.

been hearing a lot of news on ppl getting internships, attachments, overseas progeammes, exchange, all the chances to fly and explore. what can i say. except for good luck to those that get them.

i wanna talk about life's fairness. but the idea came to me, who promised that it will be? and so what if it doesnt. so many ppl out there r leading a miserable life. and they have to live with it until they die. while others who r born good, smart can cont to live a good life all the way. where is the fairness coming from? some ppl talk about it being a past life and this life theory. but who cares about what happened last life? we have no memories of it and so why should we bear the consequences if there really is.

pardon me for the extream thoughts cas im getting a lot of things which r not going along well in my life at the current stage. screwed up time plans for the next upoming 2yrs. maybe its time to really sit down after my exams, to really think about what i wanna do and how should i work towards it. im in a typical no goal no mind mood now.

hope i can get my sep this time round. for smt i really wanted and lost twice.

its been a long long time since i last blogged. so much happenings around me.
guess its true tt i only feel like bloging when im emo. [so actually when i blog my mood is not tt good, so its better if i dun blog often =p]

anyways

been nearly 4 months since i last touched this place. i went through my 3rd uni exam season, had the 2nd dec holidays, went overseas into a wonderland for a couple of days, started the 4th sem in NUS, had the best time of my life in the past few months. =) happy days, common feelings... smiles....

it comes along with bigger contrast of feelings into me also. i always try to keep myself as well as the ppl ard me as positive as i can. but sometimes, negative emotions rides me too. esp when they come from close friends. like they your best friends r in a bad situation or feeling down, you will be more affected. im in tt state now.

just read 2 of their blogs, both entries brings back memories. talking about school and jc days. i agree tt there is only so much one can do to change the situation they are in, ad how good past seems like. memories r to be cherished, build on if you can. at junctions, one needs to decide if they wanna try hard to salvage friendships. although b4 this i always thought friendships are those tt should come nature, not smt u purposely build on. but not to hide, im also at one of those junctions now. some friends r drifting apart, and i failed to realise until such late stage.

i went back to ny a couple of days ago to celebrate my friend's birthday with my ny clique. somehow when walking around the school, i have the so familar yet too strange feeling. not understanding most of the things and places and times tt went on in tt place. yet the urge of feeling of wanting to be there back again. so complicated and yet so desirable. knowing that i cant change anything now, since i made the choice to leave ny tt time, i expected a different path in front of me. but i cant help thinking back often if it is truly worth it. grass is always greener on the other side. so to me, maybe life would have been alwys better if i choose a different path, tts to stay in ny.

there is so much going on in life for me to handle at this stage. forcing me to grow up.

oki! must stop the depressive thoughts! i love my life and the way i am!~

and i will update more often now. [promise next entry wont be 4 months later =p]

just back from engin club mc retreat. its 2 long and activity packed days. and i really learn a lot out of it. i learn from the seniors, juniors and myself. about interaction, time management, leading a team and many more as i have shared at our mini AAR.

just came back from 32nd engin club mc internal elections. been 2 v.tiring days going through everything, presenting, questioning, voting. i understand that everyone feels the same way. but yay, its over and we are now newly elected as the 32nd mc! woohoo!

would like to congradulate everyone, including myself =p , for going through the arrowing and firing sessions. i really know a lot more about you guys after these 2 days. =D and hope tt u all wont take things too personal as we are all trying to find the most suitable person for the right job. ya so lets just work together! and maintain our friendship through out the year during our term of office. and after tt of course. =D

not sure if you guys will see this, but just a short note to my 32nd MC, just like many of u, i still have a lot to learn regarding the job scope of my position, in terms of interpersonal skills, leadership, presentation/public speaking skills. hope you guys can help me and remind me if i do stuff wrongly. or anything u wanna discuss just say out, i will stop and listen one. just tell me k. anything also can shang liang one.

SUN XIYING (Vice President) - The 1st year of my university life was enriched with events held by Engin Club. These events brighten my mugging days and found me true friends for life. I appreciation the group of people behind the scene and want to create beautiful experiences, which I have went through, for students from engineering by playing my part. Thus I plan to run for the 32nd Engin Club Management Community as vice-president to assist the president in leading the management community to better serve the students and keep up the good work of the 31st MC.

im writing this post b4 i walk into the 22nd yr of my life. another new chapter, new begining, continues my happiness and joy in life, with all my friends and family, leaving the sadness and emoness behind me.

this birthday really feel very different from other yrs, i feel im more matured and grown up. [not vertically i hope.] as i was telling milos that this birthday feels a lot more different, because the previous one was like moving up the different stages of childhood and teenage life and even marking of being a young adult! but now, its like i have passed all the stages of life of those. im not in the grey zone or what ever its called. im in the black and white area labeled as ADULTS! meaning im responsible for myself and my parents, and i need to take care of more than myself in life. =) thanks everyone around me for accompanying me this far!! i really feel very loved and cherished by friends and i treasure that. and not forgetting my family. thanks mummy and daddy for bring me up as a lady [ im proud to say this!] i really love you all deep deep! muakz!

and i wanna thank myself for coming so far! there are dark days and shadows in my life at different point of time. but u pull it through all girl!! good job done!! and do better!!! i love you more than anyone!

i started my uni life joining owk as a freshie, knowing nothing about nus and engineering. friends from my og (zelda) were the first few ppl i get to know in nus. i had wonderful and hyper ogls, and thanks to them, orientation for me was a good one and i really had fun and enjoyed it.
then after is engin bash. wasnt aware of anything about this bash stuff until my ogl told me bout it during city hunt. i still remember my reaction was like totally shocked. and then it all started, owk pageant, engin bash, nussu bash. but i nv regreat for joining it! cas i think this is the one tt made more ppl know who i am and allowed me into the event comms which i joined in after.
and the most impy thing tt aug was tt i turned 21!!!!

Sept - Nov 08
most ppl mugged through the first sem of their uni life. but i dint, and paid a heavy price for tt by screwing up my CAP. but well, i did enjoy myself and have fun this sem and its over, so lets not care bout it. never the less, i learnt how to manage my time and OTOT is the impt word!

Dec 08
this is when engin camp planning really started for my part. dry runs started to take place, same to the logistics planning and $$$. started to really work with the team and found that they r wonderful grp of ppl! thanks for letting me into the team khai! my dear engin camp comm director! and tts my first holiday in nus!

Jan - Feb 09
and so sem 2 started. another 13 weeks of schooling. with better time management and right focus, studying is better now. =) had my first project in nus, v'day flower sales. would like to thank everyone who helped out in it!! and also to all those that bought flowers from us!!! the over night flower wrapping and de-thorning! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

moved into ridge view for a couple of wks this sem. and realise shortly after that i miss my home much more. my bed, mummy's cooking and air-con.

May - Jul 09
end of yr 1!!! fly to bali for holiday the day after my last paper. see how much i wanna get out of my then current state. the mugging and studying really drives ppl crazy. there in bali, i enjoyed everything possible! the paradise truly brighten my soul. the positive attitude and balance culture influenced me deep in. must go back again someday!! back home and engin camp planning go into the final stage. meetings after meetings, time spent together, the fun and laughter we had together!! its never a thing to be missed out!!! BATTLE OF THE BANDS!!! woohoo~
and then after, is all the other camps and outings and meet ups! talking about which, i need more shopping trips b4 tutorials kicks in!!! still got stuff to buy! SHOPPING ANYONE?? ^_^

orientation week again! this time as a councillor. i still remember this time last yr, i used to think tt yr 2 is v.far from me and they r really of a different generation from us. cas then i was new to uni ma! hee. but now, im in the senior position alr!! ha. wells same events repeats itself every year. just with different ppl involved in them. =)
and on a side note, im turning 22!!!! humm...

and tts my 1st yr in nus!!! i hope my 2nd yr will bring me more fun and enjoyment in life! and not forgetting better results! mug hard girl!!!! jiayous!!! to all my friends i made this yr, i appreciate each and everyone of u!!! thanks for knowing me! and for all my old friends!! our friendship is another yr older!!! thanks for being there for me for another yr! i love each and everyone of you!!!! hugs and kisses!

im tired and totally drained out of energy. but im glad there my event closed. and like wat my friend said, i manage through in one piece. =) have no idea how its like for the past few years, but i know my dint turn out well. time management wasnt done well. plus bus time having problem last min. im glad all the ogs moved to their locations.

but then again.
i dun know why im doing this. for no purpose? i cant think of any. but well, gave me a chance to know more good friends! and teach mea gd lesson on last min timing for this kind of stuff. preparing 100% issnt enough. u need to be 300% prepared! 100% for the event, 100% for the last min changes, and 100% for bad luck. only then, u can be sure u can handle anything that comes along the way and solve it! ^_^

was looking through bali pics from our trip back in may. and i just miss the place more!!! its an island of adventure, love and passion. and if one went there once, it just runs in the blood forever! the surge of wanting to be back there again, for the wave the sun and the sea! it increases the heartbeat! woohoo!

boo. another day gone. im just 10days away from owk! just a yr ago, at this time, i was still pondering about uni, about nus, preparing matric fair etc. and now, im in the position of a SENIOR [>.<] gont through a camp and taking another one coming up. how fast time flies.

nus did taught me a lot in this yr. range from academic to external stuff. showing me the different side of ppl in the world out there, at the same time enligjten me on how gd ppl are ard me. =)

another yr of sch life is coming! im looking forward and yet dreading it. another 4months of lack of slp. but on the other hand, sch term add meanings to me and life. make me learn.

so just have to open my arms big big and welcome sch with a happy smile! hope it will be touched by my friendliness and give me a easy time this sem. =)

talking about which, i will camp in FOE the whole of next sem. 50% of my time in LT2, another 50% in tutorial classrooms ard the place. cas all my lectures are in LT2! and i really mean ALL, like 12hrs of lectures in tt lt.

im gonna take eg1413 [aka CTW] next sem! anyone else taking???

the first time i saw him, i think he is cute. all tt i can ask for, on the outside. but i know nothing about him inside.

the first time i saw HIM, i dint realise his presence, not until i get to really interact and talk along, i realise we r r similar on the inside.

and

the first time i saw 他, i dint think much. is just a friend. but after some times, 他 came in slowly, and rooted its place there. and i cant get it away.

ahha, im stuck in the same situation again, thinking too much, dun know which to choice and thinking too much. when all r just friends, or maybe not.

tts wat happen when u dun have siblings ba. u dun know what is the right distance to keep btw ppl. esp of the opposite gender. sometimes u get too close, sometimes stay too far. and then the wonderful creation of smt called "mind" start working strangely and bring strange thoughts tt u can nv imagine to u.

there are times when u dint intent for things to happen and ppl just infer randomly; there are times when u dint think about things even, and when it happen u feel strange; and there are times when u r just too scared to face it for things to happen. which time is it? which character is to play?? and which role am i in for this round of game?? shall and most likely will remain unknown till i change.

i remember my milo cleque always talk about the same topic tt have gone on for like 8 yrs. [u should know what it is, if u dunt then u r not suppose to know =D ] and until now, i think i finally figured out the reason. is not cas of all the physical excuses tt i find for myself, nor is it the difference i magnified so many times for no one but myself. it is the boundary tt i build up around myself, to protect and also to isolate. we always talk about the wants the need and the truth. but actually, deep down, i dun even know myself. how can i expect to find someone tt knows me? is not about lack of confidence or any other reasons tt ppl always thought about. i cant name it either, but is just the lack of courage to present infront of the right ppl at the right time, in the right way. [tt is confidence in some way, but well i dun feel lack of confidence at all, in fact i wanna show myself better! uniquely strange idea.]

humm yap. and for now, i should stop thinking and just take life normally, and see how things go. =) after all, i love my life and no matter what, im gonna make everyday a gd one with smt happy about it. and i found my today alr. so im happy. =D

just realise i dint update my blog for more than a wk alr. this wk is v.busy packed with stuff. some gd, some bad. the way life always go. ahha, well.
i cant remember what i did last wk alr. but roughly, there were owk dry run and some meetings here and there. AND i removed my extraction stitches. woohoo~ pain, but is much better alr. =D

mon went down for bash meeting + props making session 1. had fun working together with the bash team! all funny and nice ppl. =)

then yesterday went to help rag. finally, after i promissed for so long. =) and met a lot of ppl there. everyone seems to be down to help! (just tt day)

today~ go back again, photoshoting for bash, food hunting for flag plus runnus meeting with the comm. been a while since i last join them, really a lot of updates. and i learnt. =)

i have cleared my econs maths phy and statics of materials. left with SS on coming mon morning. b4 i pack up my room in rvr back home and off to holidays the next day. =)

for my papers so far, well, only econs seems ok. i tok statics of materials first and thought that was hell, until i saw the phy paper that came the day after. the phy paper may not be difficult to all, is a so long as u study and do your work consistently, you can do it one. i feel. but i dint do all those mentioned, so obviously, i cant do it. ya then had econs this afternoon followed by maths in the evening. econs is really the easiest module i had in 2sems in nus, perhaps cas i had background in JC. but well, i dit do well for my jc econs as most of my friends know, and i had background in phy and maths as well! but i just dun do well in them. haiz. but on a good note, they are over. i just wanna pass my phy. tts all. so i dun need to see all those things again. just let me pass it! and as for just now's math, i dint do all i can, cas obviously there isnt enough time. there are 2 parts tt i dun even have time to read! >.< and for one qn, i actually did the correct method and got the ans! but i dint know tts the ans so i dint fill in the blank. dumb right? but who would expect a 3 line working to bring you the ans for a 5marks qn??? well well well. im done with it. good or bad.

left with SS on mon. im rather interested in it, and after 4 modules on calculations, i dun mind some reading at this point of time. one book, 11 chapters, couple of pass yr papers, then tts it.

another 2wks to finals. soon it will all be over. and my yr1 uni life will be over. things are happening so fast these days. school, classes, events, labs, meetings...

i did enjoy myself so far, paid the price for it too. and all the meetings and planning are putting me towards the path of event planning. since i like projects, i like breaks btw them, i can rush things out if i have to, but i cant keep the momentum going forever. i think all these fits event planning well. but, if im doing that next time, y am i now spending so much on my studies in engineering? is not well related. but then again, i cant do events planning forever, i will need smt to back up on to. a degree or smt i can rely onto. and ya, tts y im under going all these now ba.

this entry is not very reader friendly, cas im typing out everything thing that comes to my mind at that second, without thinking much or attempting to phrase them well.

well, another 2 wks to exam means im 3wks away from the end of it and my bali trip. will be flying of on the 5th. 9 days of holiday. gonna be lots of fun. with the ppl i know well and knows me well too. not all my friends now a day's knows me well enough. friendship for adults are like that i guess. its just different. they are still impt to me and i do treasure all of them too. my mum once told me she made her best friends, when she was in high sch. i dint believe her, cas i though we r not mature enough, and there is a lot of stupid things going on. now i do. cas i realise u make better friends when u r innocent and young. when u dont hide ur feelings. there are lots of arguments going on at times, but when the arguments end, it really ends. u dun bring it on and back again. at least i dun. and u grow up with ur friends. have many things in common. u guys dun need to have the same character, but the fundamental concept of life is the same, u hold the same judgements and values. is these small but impt things that hold u and ur friends together. do cherish them. because these is wat u cant get when u make friends now. when u alr have a set of values and judgements of ur own.

so ya. another 14 days. get down to earth and study ba. miracles do happen, but nv to exams. =)

and i have so many things to do. wish i can have 48hrs a day instead of 24.

pretty happy tt i completed my CS1101C lab today. with help from friends. hahaz. tkztkz.
but still. i dont like computing. though i will try harder at next lab lesson. i will get it some day! yes. =D

and ya. life is pretty much e same. just more busy. and i miss those times when friends can just hang out and chat and eat like they have all e time in e world. not rushing to do anything. no labs no tutorials no lessons.

hope things will turn out well.

i wan my chinese programme!!!!! =(

just feel weird w/o it cas not used to writing some things in english. i cant piece my words together. ok my english CMI la. =p

school was great so far. except for e fact tt i forget a lot of jc stuff alr. so need to go into study mood!!!! soon =x

im thinking of wat cca to join. dance is fun and i wanna go back. but engin club seems exciting too. all e planning and organisation and leadership things. some life skills that i will need in the future. drama is on my mind too. =D and some others too. how?? any suggestions? =D

my mood is going up! happy and back to e cheerful me again! =D days are getting better and ppl r better too. things r falling into its place and e additional ones are so far so good or they are just boosting my mood. =D
this prove that my theory did work for me. when im sad just think of happy things and smile to myself. =) sounds stupid la but it do help. =) smt to make my day better so why not. =)

yesterday was good, today is great and tomorrow is going to be the greatest. :)

Back from camp!
Engin fac 08 camp was simply fun cool and exciting! esp with my dear og and rocking seniors! thankz for all the effort by the seniors to make this orientation so successful! one of e best orientations i have went through so far. =D

got to know more ppl around e faculty, but i still dint get to know any course mate. =x so tomorrow i maybe going to my lectures alone. -_-" anyone going for MLE1101 tomorrow morning at 8am? or PC1431 at 12pm? (yes i have a 3hr brk btw e lectures)
i dont wanna go for lectures alone! =x

tomorrow will be e first day of my school orientation. official start of school life in university. after going through all the previous steps, i have finally climb up to e final stage of school life. will try my best to learn more and gain experience before graduation and prepare myself for e future. =)

ok. e orientation groupings r out and im in Zeus-Zelda (blue house).
was informed by my ogl yesterday to wear and bring along blue shirts. and after calling my mum to double confirm, i concluded tt my house got no blue shirt! =x
so started my hunt for blue shirts.
giodano, jl, balano, hang ten, this fashion, op, all e shops tt i came across. and i cant find a nice one. all e blue shirt looks so unnatural to me. =.= not my colour.
end up got to borrow some school shirt from friends. =x

i got myself e fujitsu notebook. it look more durable than e toshiba one. will just get a notebook sticker to cover e top ba. and also to differentiate my frm e others. as there r really a lot of ppl in nus using tt notebook. =) yay. but got to wait at least a month b4 my notebook come. cas im getting sch loan for it. so means i have to wait until at least sept ba. hope it will come earlier, as my comp has been spoil for quite sometime and im fighting with my parents for e comp.
and i still dont know where to book e time for application of loan. e one tt need parents to go down and sign e form de. =x HOW?

oki. shall go and rest early today and prepare myself for tomorrow. =D

Roar. ROAR. ROAR!

Sch have not yet start and my time during sch term is alr packed with driving lesson, work, tuition and school. and im speaking with my current timetable which only includes 5MCs. still have one more module to go and my CS1101C programming methodology lab lesson. and all tt does not include time for project. =x
im counting on e slightest chance to let everything fall into place without them clashing into each other. if not its just going to cause a domino effect and everything will fall apart. and i dont have e time and efford to refix all of them within 1 wk! =.=
OMG y im i giving myself so much pressure!! Zzz.
oki. jiayou! things will turn out well. =D

tomorrow is civil eng's welcoming tea session.
going to be together with mech eng. and until now i only know 1 person from this lot. =.= hope to get to know some new friends tomorrow. and dont be too lost during orientation. =x

oh ya. must take e chance to try to check out e notebooks.
im thinking btw e fujitsu lifebook and e toshiba one.
fujitsu works batter and higher ram. but more expansive and not so gd looking.
toshiba is new (just came out this june) but with lower ram, but its cheaper. humm.
shall decide which one i wan tomorrow. =D

i am working. yes working. last day of work thought. and its really last day. no more work until sch start. =)

just met 2 v.nice tourist from germany. like i have said b4, tourist r mostly nice. =) but the way they speak and interact, can tell they r good at it. and make me reflect on my interpersonal skills. im nv gd at tt. =p sometimes i do or say e wrong things. but im trying to improve on tt. i know how much ppl relation is after all. esp in today's society. u have e connection, u get things done faster and easier. if not, take e long way. slowly do until u turn old and retire ba.

was at connie's birthday chalet last wk end. (sry im a bit lag) she is turning 21st! and my is just a month away. wonder how much diff will tt make. =x and i found out tt some ppl's face and age really dont match. some look like 20 when they r like 22 or 23. while another grp who also look like 20 r only 17 or 18. =)

and yesterday we had a crazy k box session. sing until voice almost gone. super high lo. esp at may day's lian ai - ing. ok my voice was alr not there in e first place due to my flu. =p (im RECOVERING from it.)

tomorrow im going ikea. =D need to get some stuff and selian also need to find something for her hostal.
one more wk and my uni life will officially kick start. with eng camp. =) any one going? im going to have a totally new environment again? good and bad. but im betting on e gd ones. =D i wan a gd uni life and in going to make it tt way. =D

okai. back to work. =) (7 more hrs.)
